Rectified Tile

Rectified porcelain tiles are mechanically finished after firing to achieve precise dimensional consistency and clean, uniform edges. While many people associate rectified tiles with sharp corners and minimal grout lines, the true advantage lies in size accuracy. Even a 1/32″ variation between tiles can compound across an installation—resulting in nearly a 1″ cumulative difference over 32 tiles. Proper rectification reduces this variation, allowing for tighter grout joints, improved alignment, and a more consistent finished surface.
