Shipping Policy
At Tiles & Stone Warehouse, we are committed to delivering your orders safely and efficiently. Please review the following shipping terms carefully before placing an order
Sample Orders
- Price: Samples are available for purchase at $5.00 each
- Size Disclaimer: While we aim to provide samples approximately 11″ x 11″, we cannot guarantee exact dimensions. Samples are manually cut from full-size tiles using a tile cutter. Due to tile characteristics and cutting limitations:
- Some samples may be as small as 9″ x 8″.
- Tiles with veins or unique designs may be cut smaller to preserve visible patterns.
- We may need to cut multiple samples from a single tile, and cracking during cutting may result in smaller pieces.
- We do not send plain or design-less samples, which may require cutting around specific areas of the tile.
- Refunds: No refunds will be issued for sample orders once they have been shipped.
- Shipping Address Accuracy: Customers are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address. No refunds will be issued for sample orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
Fulfillment Time
- Orders are not sold as full pallets and must be manually prepared by our warehouse personnel.
- Depending on warehouse activity and order size, preparation may take 1 to 3 business days
- For large orders requiring re-palletizing of 3 or more pallets, preparation may take longer than usual. We will notify you if additional time is needed.
General Shipping Terms
- Delivery Appointments: Please call us at least two business days in advance to schedule your delivery. This ensures we have the necessary staff and resources available.
- Transit Times: All transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers.
- Delivery Inspection: You must inspect your delivery for any visible damage before signing the delivery receipt. Your signature confirms that the goods arrived safely and without noticeable damage.
- Concealed Damage: You have 10 days from the delivery date to inspect your tiles for any concealed damage.
- If damage is found, please notify us immediately and provide photographic evidence before moving the damaged box from the pallet. Photographs of the damaged tiles must be taken while the tiles are still on the pallet. This is essential to verify that the damage occurred during transit and not after delivery.
- Use of Damaged Tiles: During tile installation, many full size tiles need to be cut. We will gladly exchange boxes of broken tiles that cannot be used for cuts.
Shipping Address Responsibility
We are not responsible for shipments sent to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer. Please double-check your shipping details before placing your order.
Special Orders
All special orders are final sale and non-refundable, including those shipped directly to the customer.
