Description

Burdur Beige is a light marble look porcelain tile designed to bring a calm, refined character to residential and commercial interiors. Its pale beige background carries slight grey undertones, giving the surface a balanced, natural color that works with both warm and cool palettes. Fine white veining and softly layered movement recreate the subtle variations found in natural marble without an overly busy pattern.

In its generous 32×63 size, Burdur Beige creates broad, continuous-looking surfaces with fewer grout joints than smaller tiles. The polished finish highlights the depth of the marble-inspired design, adding reflections that complement natural light and contemporary furnishings.

With its detailed surface design, precise appearance, and high-quality polished finish, Burdur Beige is intended to compete with high-end Italian porcelain tile collections while offering its own distinctive character. The combination of soft color variation and delicate veining provides an elegant alternative to more dramatic marble patterns.

Burdur Beige works well with cream, taupe, soft grey, natural wood, and darker accent materials. Suitable for residential and commercial floor and wall applications where its finish meets the project’s requirements, it lends a welcoming, sophisticated look to living rooms, reception areas, and feature walls.

Large-format porcelain tile requires proper substrate preparation, handling, mortar coverage, leveling, and grout-joint planning. For best results, review our detailed installation guide before beginning your project.

Where to Use This Tile, and How Tile Finishes Work

Porcelain tile can be suitable for most interior and exterior floor and wall applications when properly selected and installed over a suitable substrate using appropriate setting materials, grout, and waterproofing where required. Under ANSI A137.1, porcelain tile has a water absorption rate of 0.5% or less. In showers and other wet areas, porcelain tile is widely used, but the tile and grout alone do not create a waterproof installation. Proper substrates, setting materials, waterproofing systems, and grout should be selected according to the installation conditions and TCNA guidelines. When slipperiness is a concern, the tile’s intended-use classification and DCOF performance should be considered under ANSI A326.3. Slip resistance alone does not determine safety; water, slope, contaminants, walking speed, and intended use also affect surface conditions. For exterior areas exposed to direct sunlight, tile color and heat absorption should be considered, along with manufacturer recommendations for exterior use. Movement joints should also be incorporated where required in accordance with TCNA EJ171. Grout-joint width should follow the tile manufacturer’s recommendations and ANSI A108.02 rather than relying on one universal joint size..
