Dolomite tile is a type of natural stone that is as hard and dense as all other natural stones. Dolomite is a very popular natural stone among the design community for their milky white background color. The grey veining of white dolomite being lighter than all other natural stones is another reason of popularity for this natural stone. Like all other white marbles, the amount of veining is what defines the price of the block from heavy veining towards the pure white. Lesser veining makes the block expensive. Pure white cuts are rare and they are naturally the most expensive ones.

p/s We do not recommend porcelain or ceramic tiles for outside areas that get direct sunlight where/ if you don’t wear shoes. Porcelain and Ceramic tiles are made with extreme heat. Therefore they tend to get hot. Whereas very light colors may be okay, we strongly suggest that you should leave a sample tile out under the sun prior to installation to see how hot it will get.

Where to Use This Tile, and How Tile Finishes Work
Standard matte, satin, and polished finishes usually have similar slip-resistance levels unless the tile is specifically rated as an In & Out or Grip finish.
For pool areas, a Grip finish is preferred. For outdoor areas that may get wet, an In & Out finish is usually the better choice. However, any wet surface can become slippery depending on the angle, speed, amount of water, and how the area is used, so caution is always required.
A DCOF rating above 0.42 is considered the beginning level of slip resistance. Tiles with more surface friction usually attract more dirt and dust, which is why they are generally preferred for outdoor areas.
