Dark gray tile Concrete Anthracite is a 24×48 rectified porcelain tile that mimics the look of industrial cement floors in a dark gray color. Its gray shade is on the darker side, but it doesn’t look black. Its design has movement that won’t overwhelm and will please anyone who likes dark floors and contemporary interiors. Concrete Anthracite comes with an R9 matte finish, which is what most people call anti-slip. Although such a finish may be considered anti-slip for residential areas, we suggest higher R numbers for commercial floors. Please keep in mind that manufacturers have to consider ease of cleaning when producing tiles for residential use. Higher anti-slip rates will make cleaning a little harder. Besides, rougher surfaces can become unpleasant under bare feet.
Dark Gray Tile Concrete Anthracite can also be a great option for accent walls, bathroom walls, and shower walls.
Today, many people are making accent walls in their houses. An accent wall can be the wall behind the TV, the wall over a fireplace, or any other wall that we want to stand out. When creating an accent wall, it’s always a good idea to use a contrasting color. Besides, a big, dark gray tile such as 24×48 Concrete Anthracite makes installation easier and gives the space a bigger impression. We can say the same about bathrooms and shower walls. Even though today’s trend is to keep one single floor flowing throughout the entire house or apartment, walls are where we want to go a little different. So, if it’s an accent wall, shower wall, or bathroom wall, Concrete Anthracite is a great option.
