Meet Cosmo Grey, a whitish grey tile with warm undertones and a great option for concrete tile floors. Its soft color gives the appearance of light concrete without feeling cold, making it easy to use in modern interiors that need a clean, calm, and understated surface.

Although Cosmo Grey sits within the grey family, its warm undertones allow it to work naturally with beige, wood, cream, and other warmer finishes. In cooler settings, it can read more clearly as a light grey, while warmer surroundings bring out its softer side. The surface features subtle speckling inspired by poured cement, adding gentle movement without making the tile look busy.

Made in Spain, Cosmo Grey is a rectified large format porcelain tile available in 24×48, 32×63, and 48×48 sizes. The larger formats help create a more continuous appearance with fewer grout lines, making it a strong choice for kitchens, living areas, open-plan spaces, and other interiors where a refined concrete look is preferred.

The 24×48 size is also available in a Grip finish, allowing the same look to continue into suitable outdoor areas while providing added slip resistance.

Where to Use This Tile, and How Tile Finishes Work

Porcelain tile can be used as floor or wall tile in almost any interior room, except for shower pans. Once installed, porcelain tiles are waterproof, frost-resistant, and heat-resistant. Porcelain tiles are also excellent choices for exterior walls. Standard matte, satin, and polished finishes usually have similar slip-resistance levels unless the tile is specifically rated as an In & Out or Grip finish. For pool areas, a Grip finish is preferred. For outdoor areas that may get wet, an In & Out finish is usually the better choice. However, any wet surface can become slippery depending on the angle, speed, amount of water, and how the area is used, so caution is always required. A DCOF rating above 0.42 is considered the beginning level of slip resistance. Tiles with more surface friction usually attract more dirt and dust, which is why they are generally preferred for outdoor areas.
