Description
The Intarsi Frida is the jewel of the collection, offering a masterful recreation of high-precision water-jet design. This tile features a sophisticated, multi-tonal white marble canvas, interlaced with crisp geometric fractures and brilliant gold accents. It is designed for those who want the prestige of a custom-fabricated stone inlay without the astronomical costs and technical complexities of traditional water-jet assembly.
The pattern utilizes an intricate arrangement of triangular and trapezoidal “marble” segments, interspersed with metallic gold lines that catch the light to create a sense of movement across the floor. Because this architectural detail is captured within a single 24×48 large-format tile, you achieve a high-detail, luxurious aesthetic with significantly fewer grout lines and a much faster installation timeline.
The surface is finished with a specialized Satin-Touch non-polished texture. This ensures that the gold accents and marble veining are presented with a refined, matte elegance rather than a distracting high-gloss glare. It provides a tactile, premium feel that is as impressive to the touch as it is to the eye.
Engineered to meet the professional industry standard DCOF > 0.42 (Dynamic Coefficient of Friction), the Intarsi Frida complies with requirements for level interior spaces expected to be walked upon when wet. It is the rare product that successfully bridges the gap between delicate “jewelry-store” aesthetics and rugged commercial-grade performance.

Where to Use This Tile, and How Tile Finishes Work
Porcelain tile can be suitable for most interior and exterior floor and wall applications when properly selected and installed over a suitable substrate using appropriate setting materials, grout, and waterproofing where required. Under ANSI A137.1, porcelain tile has a water absorption rate of 0.5% or less.
In showers and other wet areas, porcelain tile is widely used, but the tile and grout alone do not create a waterproof installation. Proper substrates, setting materials, waterproofing systems, and grout should be selected according to the installation conditions and TCNA guidelines.
When slipperiness is a concern, the tile’s intended-use classification and DCOF performance should be considered under ANSI A326.3. Slip resistance alone does not determine safety; water, slope, contaminants, walking speed, and intended use can also affect surface conditions.
For exterior areas exposed to direct sunlight, tile color and heat absorption should be considered, along with manufacturer recommendations for exterior use. Movement joints should also be incorporated where required in accordance with TCNA EJ171. Grout-joint width should follow the tile manufacturer’s recommendations and ANSI A108.02 rather than relying on one universal joint size..
