Sabik is a premium collection of wood-look porcelain tiles made in Spain, featuring a sleek 9×47 inch format with rectified edges for a refined finish. Available in three natural tones—Miele (Honey), Beige, and White—Sabik tiles authentically replicate the warmth and texture of hardwood flooring, while offering the durability and low maintenance of porcelain.
These tiles are 100% waterproof, easy to clean (often with just water), and require no ongoing maintenance. Their innovative In & Out finish allows for a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces, enhancing design continuity.
What’s Porcelain Tile, What’s Ceramic Tile?
Standard matte, satin, and polished finishes usually have similar slip-resistance levels unless the tile is specifically rated as an In & Out or Grip finish.
For pool areas, a Grip finish is preferred. For outdoor areas that may get wet, an In & Out finish is usually the better choice. However, any wet surface can become slippery depending on the angle, speed, amount of water, and how the area is used, so caution is always required.
A DCOF rating above 0.42 is considered the beginning level of slip resistance. Tiles with more surface friction usually attract more dirt and dust, which is why they are generally preferred for outdoor areas.
