Sapphire White is a large format white onyx look porcelain tile designed to bring brightness, elegance, and refined beauty to modern homes and high-end spaces. Made in Spain, this polished porcelain tile features soft, cloudy movement with subtle tonal variation that creates a sophisticated white-on-white onyx look without heavy veining or an overly busy pattern.
Inspired by the luminous appearance of natural white onyx, Sapphire White has a clean, flowing character that works especially well in interiors where the goal is to create a bright and spacious atmosphere. Its understated movement gives the surface visual depth while allowing surrounding cabinetry, furniture, stone, and architectural details to remain part of the overall design rather than competing with the floor.
The polished finish reflects both natural and artificial light beautifully, enhancing the tile’s depth and giving rooms a more open, luxurious appearance. The combination of a predominantly white background, delicate movement, and reflective surface makes Sapphire White particularly suitable for contemporary and transitional interiors.
Sapphire White can be used throughout living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, entryways, and other residential interiors, as well as appropriate commercial environments. It provides the elegant appearance associated with natural onyx and marble while offering the durability, strength, and easier maintenance of porcelain.
Available in 24×48 and 48×48, Sapphire White also takes advantage of the visual impact of large format porcelain. The larger dimensions allow expansive surfaces to be created with fewer grout joints, helping the soft white-on-white pattern flow more continuously across the installation.
For homeowners and designers looking for a white onyx porcelain tile that feels luxurious without relying on dramatic veins or strong contrast, Sapphire White offers a quieter interpretation of the look—bright, polished, sophisticated, and distinctly modern.

Standard matte, satin, and polished finishes usually have similar slip-resistance levels unless the tile is specifically rated as an In & Out or Grip finish.
For pool areas, a Grip finish is preferred. For outdoor areas that may get wet, an In & Out finish is usually the better choice. However, any wet surface can become slippery depending on the angle, speed, amount of water, and how the area is used, so caution is always required.
A DCOF rating above 0.42 is considered the beginning level of slip resistance. Tiles with more surface friction usually attract more dirt and dust, which is why they are generally preferred for outdoor areas.
