Bianco Laguna High Gloss Wall Tile comes in the large, 12 x36 size. This rectified Spanish tile has soft grey veining on a white background. It’s ideal for your bathroom, shower and accent walls.
Wall tiles are made of a type of ceramic that is called “white body”. White body tiles offer a better solution for walls due to their lighter weight than other tiles. They also stick easier, helping a stronger bond with the wall’s surface.
12×36 size has great proportions for showers walls when stacking or staggering.
When Stacking:
Since side walls in most showers are 30 to 32 inches and the center wall is about 5 feet wide, with a little slicing from the sides, 12×36 tiles fit perfectly to all three walls.
When Staggering:
Whether you are an experienced installer, or a first timer understanding spacing and grout size is an essential part of your design. Either it’s a wall or floor tile, tiles cannot be staggered by 1/2 and 1/2 pattern. They have to be staggered by 1/3. Therefore a 1 to 3 height to length ratio gives the perfect visual effect on the walls.

Where to Use This Tile, and How Tile Finishes Work
Standard matte, satin, and polished finishes usually have similar slip-resistance levels unless the tile is specifically rated as an In & Out or Grip finish.
For pool areas, a Grip finish is preferred. For outdoor areas that may get wet, an In & Out finish is usually the better choice. However, any wet surface can become slippery depending on the angle, speed, amount of water, and how the area is used, so caution is always required.
A DCOF rating above 0.42 is considered the beginning level of slip resistance. Tiles with more surface friction usually attract more dirt and dust, which is why they are generally preferred for outdoor areas.
