Whereas some glossy tiles may have more than 0.5% water absorption level for the glossy glaze stick to the body, almost all porcelain tiles are made within the PEI III-IV rate. A PEI-III porcelain tile will last much longer than a PEI-IV ceramic tile. Montana Walnut is a PEI-IV tile.
