Wood Looking Floor Tile – Algord Natural is a rectified porcelain tile that comes in the 9×48 plank size. It has a smooth matte finish that can offer some grip in wet areas. Algord Natural has the look of Acacia wood, and plain saw cut wood grains. Acacia wood is known for its beautiful rich color and veining. With slight reddish tones to it, it really has all of the characteristics of a wood design you look for, but with Algord Natural Wood Tile it is even better. It’s one of those tiles that can offer the wood look in high fidelity. Algord Natural carries the simple beauty of hardwood floors that you know and love but with less maintenance, longer-lasting quality, and (probably the best part) it cleans very easily.

Where to Use This Tile, and How Tile Finishes Work

Porcelain tile can be used as floor or wall tile in almost any interior room, except for shower pans. Once installed, porcelain tiles are waterproof, frost-resistant, and heat-resistant. Standard matte, satin, and polished finishes usually have similar slip-resistance levels unless the tile is specifically rated as an In & Out or Grip finish. For pool areas, a Grip finish is preferred. For outdoor areas that may get wet, an In & Out finish is usually the better choice. However, any wet surface can become slippery depending on the angle, speed, amount of water, and how the area is used, so caution is always required. A DCOF rating above 0.42 is considered the beginning level of slip resistance. Tiles with more surface friction usually attract more dirt and dust, which is why they are generally preferred for outdoor areas.

Versatility by design

Often when people shop our tile warehouse looking at wood look tiles they are instantly struck by the exceptional quality of the designs. Thanks to the continued progress and development of flooring technology we are able to carry some of the best wood look tiles available at great prices. Whereas tile selections, materials, and designs were all limited by manufacturing abilities we are finding an explosion in the options available to you for home design. With Algord Natural Wood Tile, you are able to see a classic example of the perfect marriage between porcelain flooring materials and wood look. You get the benefits of the striking visual appeal of wood flooring with the diversity of use found in porcelain tile.

Wood flooring is not waterproof and tends to dent pretty easily. Additionally, especially with more exotic woods, the oils from the floor dissipate and the result is lackluster floors that show visible wear and tear. Because of this, wood flooring can become costly over time thanks to the regular maintenance and material replacement that may be required. With wood look tile, we have made it possible to experience the same dynamic look of wood but with a lasting material and versatile use. Not only can you use wood look tile on your floors and walls throughout your home, but you can now use these beautiful tiles in bathrooms and showers!

Choose Porcelain Over Ceramic For Floors.

Ceramic products with extremely low water absorption are those we call porcelain. Therefore, porcelain tiles are very strong products. They don’t crack and break easily. PEI, on the other hand, measures the abrasion of the glaze. High PEI doesn’t make the tile strong. The porcelain body does. Wood Looking Floor Tile Algord Natural is a true porcelain tile with water absorption below 0.5%

Porcelain gets hot under the sun.

We do not suggest ceramic or porcelain tiles for outdoor areas where you don’t wear shoes or sandals for they get hot under the sun. Other than that, wood looking porcelain tiles are excellent for all types of interior and exteriors applications. Moreover, Algord Natural has the matte finish surface that isn’t slippery. Such a finish is a safer choice for bathrooms and kitchens. Also, porcelain tiles are great for interior and exterior wall applications. You can bring an amazing exterior look to your house with Algord Natural, or you can use it to create a shower that will stand out. You can also mount your tv on an accent wall designed with wood looking floor tile – Algord Natural in your living room.
